Summary
Abstract: TSANA is a derivative of EPIC. It offers users to query our in-situ database
and download the selected data sets and/or pointer files. Download is limited
up to 5000 files for each query due to our system restriction.

Client software such as Java Ocean Atlas (JOA) and Matlab can be used to
analyze the profile data downloaded from the TSANA System. Sample Matlab
scripts are available to read the data into Matlab.

Description: EPIC was developed at NOAA's Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory to manage
the large numbers of hydrographic and time series oceanographic in-situ data
sets collected as part of NOAA climate study programs, such as EPOCS and TOGA
in earlier years, WOCE and CLIVAR and others more recently.
