The product will be refined over time as ways are found to make it better reflect the needs of decision-makers and others who use the information. Drought Monitor is provided by agencies within the USDA, including the National Water and Climate Center (NWCC), the Department of Commerce, the Department of the Interior and the National Drought Mitigation Center (NDMC).
