TRAWL Ancillary Description
Quality This experiment did not proceed as well as planned. Not enough squid were caught.

The original datasheet was reformatted to fit IPT Biodiversity.AQ standard. The new datasheet "squidsSouthernOcean.csv" provides the dataset ID, recordNumber, occurrenceID, sex, waterBody, locality, decimal latitude, decimal longitude, eventDate, dephtInMeters, samplingProtocol, associatedReferences, institutionCode, country, dynamicProperties, basis of record, and occurrenceStatus. Measurement parameters and values are provided for dataset from ASAC-1242. The lowest taxonomical rank of the species identified that could be determined is provided, after matched in WoRMS (World Register of Marine Species). Some of the data was obtained from the the associated references.
Access Constraints A table of data of squid caught south of Tasmania is publicly available for download from the provided URL. A PDF copy of the referenced paper is also available for download to AAD staff only.
