MISR hdfscanEntry ID: hdfscan
Abstract: MISR hdfscan is a data browser for files in Hierarchical Data Format (HDF), and HDF Earth Observing System (EOS) extension (HDF-EOS) formats. It is specifically written to facilitate access to Terra MISR data products. In particular, many MISR-unique functions are incorporated into the tool, such as data scaling, reformatting, unpacking, fill value recognition, and flag value interpretation. However, because of the standard formats provided by HDF and HDF-EOS, hdfscan can also serve as the general purpose tool for use with any other files making use of these formats.
