Abstract: This data set contains the chemical and isotopic composition of gas discharges from Mount Erebus Volcano, Antarctica ice caves and warm ground areas. The data contains discharge temperatures, locations, date collected and gas composition. The data set also contains some data on CO2 fluxes collected from the Earbus warm ground areas. The data is mostly from field season 2015 and 2016 with a few data from field season of 2012.

Purpose: The purpose of the data set is to characterize the magmatic, hydrothermal and arc components of gases that discharge from the ice caves and warm ground areas.

Quality This is a high quality data set of samples that have been collected with state-of-the-art methods and very carefully. The analyses have been performed with state-of-the-art equipment at the University of New Mexico.
Use Constraints Data is in the process of being published in Journal of Volcanology and Geothermal Research. Paper has been submitted in February 2019. Once published data can be used.
