The data originate from the CALVA~=, or CALVA-ACDC, program: CALibrations and Validations of meteorological and climate models in Antarctica, from the Ad?lie land Coast to the Dome C.

Meteorological data result from surface atmospheric boundary layer and precipitation observations at Dome C, surface energy balance, blowing snow and catabatic boundary layer campaigns at the coast.

Quality Quality is hard to assess at Dome C, as commercial instruments are used but are not validated for such conditions (cold, frost).

Otherwise, commercial instrument accuracy. Instruments are from recognized manufacturers / providers such as Campbell, Vaisala, Biral, etc.
