Summary
Abstract: The dataset comprises whole metagenomic shotgun DNA sequences generated from Illumina HySeq2500 sequencing of eDNA (environmental DNA) recovered from shallow bottom water in four regions along the coast of West Antarctic Peninsula.

Purpose: Use DNA sequences recovered from water column as an approach to detect faunal diversity.
