Abstract: Location records for fossil ammonite and belemnite finds in the Maastrichtian Lopez de Bertodano Formation, Seymour Island, Antractica, collected by William Zinsmeister. These data are part of the set used to introduce Stratigraphic Projection-plane Analysis (Zinsmeister, W. J., 2001, "Short-term Biotic Events on Seymour Island, Antarctic Peninsula", Journal of Geology, v. 109, p.213-229).

Data are available in three formats: 1) a flat file of individual locations by taxon name, latitude, longitude, and local X (dip direction), Y(strike direction) Z (stratigraphic height) coordinates [261 records]; 2) a flat file of taxon ranges and confidence intervals from the same information as resampled in traverses perpendicular to strike and ranging in width from 125 to 7000 m[1994 records]; 3) a relational data base with the CONMAN9 data manager for use with CONOP9 sequencing software [750kb Windows zipped folder].
Compilation and analysis of these data was funded by NSF grant OPP0338274 to Sadler and NSF grant OPP9417776 to Zinsmeister, which also supported the field collecting.
