Abstract: Data refer to forest area by categories of naturalness, distinguished in undisturbed, semi-natural and plantations. Forest undisturbed is the forest where there has been no human disturbance at all, or disturbance occurred so long ago that natural processes have been completely re-established. Forests that do not satisfy this definition are considered semi-natural. Data are in thousand hectars. Source: UNECE/FAO - TBFRA 2000.
