Abstract: The Advanced Along Track Scanning Radiometer (AATSR) is one of the Announcement of Opportunity (AO) instruments on board ENVISAT. It is the most recent in a series of instruments designed to measure Sea Surface Temperature (SST) to the high levels of accuracy and precision required for the monitoring and detection of climate change.
By agreement with the European Space Agency (ESA) ... access to the AATSR data are restricted to those who have signed the ESA Catergory One Agreement.
AATSR Data Formats Products:
The Level 2 AATSR data products are composed of three datasets.
- AATSR averaged geophysical product: ATS_AR_2P
- AATSR Spatially Averaged Sea Surface Temperature for Meteo Users: ATS_MET_2P
- AATSR geophysical product (Full resolution): ATS_NR_2P
The Level 1 AATSR products:
-AATSR Gridded brightness temperature and reflectance: ATS_TOA_1P
