GOES Satellite Imagery from NOAA's Geostationary Satellite Server

Abstract: The NOAA Geostationary Satellite Server offers real-time GOES 10 and
GOES 12 weather satellite imagery. The images are broken down into
Infrared, Visible, and Water Vapor wavelengths. Separate satellite
images are available for the following spatial zones: Eastern
Coninental United States, Western Continental United States, Puerto
Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii. The format for the single frame images is
JPG. Users may also view satellite movies for the Eastern and Western
Continental United States in MPEG format. Images are archived for the
past 21 days. An extended archive of GOES satellite imagery is
available from the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) in Asheville,
North Carolina.
