Abstract: Global monthly Land surface temperature
The dataset contains global monthly-mean night-time land
surface temperature averaged within 1 by 1 degree grid cells. The
source for the data is MODIS/Terra MOD11C3 Collection 005 product (MODIS Monthly mean land surface temperature at 0.05 degree spatial resolution). The dataset
covers the time period starting January 2000.
