Abstract: The data set includes geochemical and geochronological results of selected rock samples from the Ford Ranges, Marie Byrd Land. Samples analyzed are predominantly plutonic rocks within the Fosdick Mountains; data set also includes migmatitic gneisses from the Fosdick Mountains and regional plutonic and metasedimentary rocks from the Ford Ranges.
Sample numbers and descriptions are ... entered in the System for Earth SAmple Registration (SESAR) registry at http://www.geosamples.org/ assigned an IGSN number, and can be located in through the online search routine. Researchers who have need of physical material can contact email@example.com with explanation and request to acquire more detailed descriptions, isotopic data or sample material for analytical work.
