The World Iron Data Set is a compendium of research datasets of
dissolved and particulate iron from a number of experiments throughout
the world oceans. Data were derived from experiments in the North
Atlantic (JGOFS North Atlantic Bloom Experiment), Ross Sea, Drake
Passage, Northeast Pacific (Vertex V, Vertex VI), Gulf of Alaska
(Vertex VII), Equatorial Pacific ... (JGOFS Equatorial Pacific Process
Study, FeLine), and Eastern Pacific (IronEx I, PlumEx). For each
station, profiles of the constituents are given. The depths of
specific samples vary by station.
In addition to dissolved and particulate iron, the following
additional constituents are given: dissolved oxygen, apparent oxygen
utilization, dissolved phosphate, dissolved nitrate, and dissolved
